I listened to this over the last few days and was really happy to have the experience. Thank you both for sharing. There was a lot of wisdom here that was moving for me. I learned at least a couple things that hopefully I will be able to hold onto going forward. And I am certain that I will be re-listening.

Thanks again,
Craig

A great interview. I particularly enjoyed Stephens's broad philosophical and historical sweep. He shows how much has been lost in the Western style through his discussion of how Cuban doctors know not only their patient's conditions but the conditions in which they live.

Stephen has also provided an important reminder that one of the tasks of the physician is to acknowledge mortality and to help patients prepare for, rather than deny, life's final transition.

I greatly appreciated his thoughts on dosage in acute conditions and his call to rescue knowledge of the many active plants that have not made it into our formal materia medica.

Thanks for this. Looking forward to the next interview.

I'd like to thank you John for having Paul on your HerbMentor Radio and Paul for the wealth of knowledge you shared. I wish I lived close enough to attend your classes or, at the very least had an opportunity to meet you. I could feel the connection you have with nature while listening to you speak and found that to be one of the most refreshing experiences that I have had in a long time. Thank you again.

I thoroughly enjoyed this program. I was blessed with the opportunity to do a woods walk with Doug a few years ago here in western NC. This program brought back that memory and reminded me of more plants I want to explore here.

As usual, Kiva Rose is wonderful. Her understanding of the land, the plants and how we live in harmony with them is amazing. This recording was over too soon. I'm sure I will listen to it again and again. Thank you John and Kiva for this treat.

So good to see Jim here. He is an inspiring herbalist of the highest integrity, here in the midwest. He hosted a United Plants Savers Conference last year and invited me to teach..which is where I first met him. I really appreciated how down to earth he is and enjoyed an herb walk that he offered. I could tell that he is a true lover of the green.
Blessings

I really enjoyed this interview. The dynamic between the two of you was a joy to listen to. Stephen has a great sense of humor that brought out yours as well.

I was also amazed to see his name here, as I was just today perusing his book selection on Amazon before I knew about this interview or even heard of him. I'll be checking out his books to be sure.

Thanks John!
